Furniture Sugi Ban Picnic Table

I made this picnic table for my wife during a COVID furlough, Spring of 2020. I found a firewood dealer who cut pine slabs from some of the wood he received. The damaged, bug infested, spalted, knotty soft yellow pine was perfect for a technique called Shou Sugi Ban (or Yakisugi) that protects it from the elements.
